Campo all’orzo, IGT, Vallone di Cecione

The Vallone di Cecione farm is a small farm in Panzano, in the heart of the Chianti Classico, between the provinces of Florence and Siena.
The  8 acres of vineyards are located  at an altitude of 460 meters above sea level.
In the vineyard, a small tower of the XIV century stands out, where the Anichini family has lived since the beginning of the 900. Francesco Anichini, one of the youngest wine producers of the Chianti Classico, bottled his first Chianti Classico in 2001, and he loves so much his land and the surrounding environment that has decided from the beginning to reintroduce ancient vines such as Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera in purity and to work the vineyards with organic and biodynamic methods producing high quality wines.
The vineyards are fortified and enriched with infusions of propolis, nettle and sowing of various herbs such as rocket, clover and broad bean.
