Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Sei

This single-vineyard wine comes from the “Belvedere” vineyard and represents the best selection of Sangiovese grapes. The soil is medium in texture with limestone marl and is rich in minerals. Altitude is between 420 and 450 meters with a vine density of 6,666 plants per hectare. The vineyard is trained with the Cordon system and has a Southwest exposure.

Sei is an intense, ruby red and elegant wine with notes of red roses, potpourri and underlying hints of oriental spices and mint. Expressive and full in the mouth with punchy acidity, balanced out by accentuated tannins.
