Poggio al Chiuso is an old winery, run by three brothers Marco, Matteo and Andrea. Their great-gran father started back in 1930.
They have eight hectares of vineyard that surround the family home and they produce six different wines and, of course, Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Poggio al Chiuso is a place where tradition and innovation are perfectly combined together.

Fermentation at controlled temperature in cement vats for 3 weeks, slow maceration with 3 daily pumping over and gentle pressing which allow a high extraction; aging in oak barrels and old cement vats for at least 12 months and further refinement in bottle for 9 months.
