Rosato di Sangiovese, IGT Toscana, Montalbino winery
The winery is part of the farm owned by the Tinacci family since the early 90’s. In 2015, the middle son Giulio decided to dedicate himself to the vineyards of the estate.
He started by working with the existing older vines, but also planted some new ones, rigorously indigenous varieties, and now has a total of 5 hectares of vineyards.
Tasting notes:
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Colour: slightly intense salmon pink
Harvesting and vinification: Manual harvesting in crates. Vinification in steel tanks at controlled temperature. Soft pressing, maturation for 6 months in steel with frequent batonnages and few months of aging in bottle.
Aromas and taste: the nose is fine and elegant, with notes of peach and dried flowers. In the mouth they amaze its sapidity and acidity, which induce to return and return to the glass.
Pairing: spaghetti with fresh tomatoes.
